成为闪亮的镜子

有一天放学时,蛋蛋的妈妈跟我讲了这样一个故事:蛋蛋在吃饭时对妈妈说:“妈妈,你吃饭的时候不要说话”。妈妈:“哦,好的”(妈妈想起身去拿东西)蛋蛋:“妈妈,吃饭的时候不可以走来走去”。妈妈:“为什么呀,我去拿东西”。蛋蛋:“不可以,老师说的,吃饭时不要离开桌子”。过了一会儿,蛋蛋自己起身去拿杯子,妈妈:“蛋蛋,你怎么可以走来走去呢?”蛋蛋:“因为我是老师啊”。
  原来,我是这样教育孩子的。我在心里嘲笑自己。
  我又为自己辩解到:“小孩吃饭时,正好是户外活动回来,我要为孩子增添衣物,我也要检查是否有孩子汗湿衣服,我要……”,想到这里我感到有点心虚,因为这些都是借口,为什么不等一切准备就绪我们才开始吃饭呢,我反问自己。
  从那以后,每天中午吃饭时,就算再忙,我也会自己盛一碗饭,安安静静的和孩子们坐在一起吃,不说话、不乱走,也不撒饭粒。用正确的方法来做好“镜子”的角色。
  记得有一本书叫《教育的痛与痒》,其中有这样一段关于漫画的描述:在一个教室里,学生开始来上学的时候,有的是方形头,有的是圆形头,也有的是三角形头,总之都是带着各种不同形状的头来的。但等到三年以后离开教室的时候,都变成了圆形的头,原因是老师的头是圆形的。可见老师对孩子的影响力之大,老师给孩子创造了什么样的环境,就会造就什么样的孩子!
  我很喜欢这样一段话:一个孩子在充满批评挑剔的环境下成长,他学会了吹毛求疵谴责他人;一个孩子在充满恐惧的环境下成长,他学会了忧虑害怕;一个孩子在充满耻辱的环境下成长,他学会了自觉有罪;一个孩子在充满了宽容的环境下成长,他学会了有耐心;一个孩子在充满鼓励的环境下成长,他学会了自信;一个孩子在充满赞美的环境下成长,他学会了赏识他人;一个孩子在充满认同的环境下成长,他学会了爱惜自己;一个孩子在充满被肯定的环境下成长,他学会了立定志向。所以每位教师在教书育人的过程中应通过言传身教,在孩子的心目中建立起一个良好的教师形象,给孩子树立一个好的榜样。
  孩子是一面镜子。说的真好!看看自己的班级,看看班里的每个孩子,我们便会明白我们给了孩子怎样的一种教育。当然,老师也是孩子们行为规范的一面镜子,如果我们近100位教师能为学生做出100个榜样,那么我们幼稚园就处处都有闪亮的镜子,孩子也会在我们的潜移默化之中养成良好习惯。我一直牢记着教育家叶圣陶先生的一句话:“教育工作者的全部工作就是四个字——为人师表。”
  播种行为,收获习惯;播种习惯,收获品质;播种品质,收获成功。让我们一起在孩子们的心中播下快乐的种子、坚强的种子、学习的种子、创造力的种子……让这些种子在孩子们的心中生根发芽,开花结果!让我们成为孩子们心中“最闪亮的那一面镜子”。

                                         
 

 Be a glittering mirror

  One day after school, Dan Dan‘s mother told me a story: Once when Dan Dan was eating, he said to his mother, "Mum, please don‘t talk while eating." "Ok!" Mother answered. Later, his mother stood up to get something, and then Dan Dan said, "Please don‘t walk around while eating." Mother asked, "Why not?" "Teacher told us not to leave the table while eating." Dan Dan answered. After a while, Dan Dan stood up to get a cup, and mother asked, "Dan Dan, why can you walk while eating?" Dan Dan answered, "Because I am a teacher."
  I laughed at myself and thought, "That‘s my way of teaching."
  I make my excuses: I have to prepare clothes for kids after activity, which is also eating time; I have to check whose clothes have gotten wet with sweat; I have to……. I felt a little guilty for all of those are just excuses. I asked myself why I didn‘t get everything ready and then start eating. 
  After that, I always eat with the children. I never walk around, talk, or leave rice on the table. I should be a mirror in a correct way.
  I remember a book named "Education with Pain and Itch", and a comic strip I saw there: The shapes of students‘ heads are different -  square, round, or triangle. Three years later, when they leave the classroom, all of them have changed to round heads, because the teacher‘s head is round. We can see how strong the influence is. Children‘s growth depends on the environment that teachers offer to them.
  I appreciate this sentence: A child becomes critical if he grows up in a environment of criticism; she becomes anxious and frightened if she grows up in fear; he becomes conscious of guilt if he grows up in disgrace; she becomes patient if she grows up with tolerance; he becomes confident if he grows up with encouragement; she becomes appreciative of others if she grows up in a community; he learns to love himself if he grows up independently; she learns to set goals if she frequently gets approval from others. Every teacher should make a good image for students during teaching.
  It is right to say that children are mirrors. After observing children in the class, you can imagine the type of teaching they get. Teachers are also mirrors for disciplining children. If all teachers set good examples for children, there will be mirrors everywhere and children can develop good habits by osmosis. I always remember that the educator Ye Shengtao once said "The education career is to be a model of virtue for others."
  Sow behavior and you reap habit; sow a habit, and you reap character; sow character and you reap success. Let‘s sow the seeds of happiness, confidence, learning, and creativity in children‘s hearts, and let them take root and spread, blossom, and bear fruits. Let us be the glittering mirror in the children‘s hearts.
